Dear Student!
I would like to notify you that the exam period of 2nd semester of the academic year 2025/2026 for the graduating students: April 27 - May 22, 2026.
The registration for the exams will be open on April 20, 2026 (Monday) at 8 o'clock in the NEPTUN system.
There is no longer possible to enroll and cancel any course for this semester!
There is important to know that only student who has no financial debts to the University of Debrecen can register any exam in the NEPTUN! Please note that there is not possible to attend on any exam without NEPTUN registration!
After the last exam If all the grade uploaded in the Neptun, for the pre-degree certificate stating that all course have been complated you can fill out (not obligatory) an electric request in the following way in the Neptun:
Administration/Request– TT_Request for output requirement verification_2025/26/2
There is responsibility of the student to check the grade has been uploaded to the NEPTUN system for each exam.
Deadline of the exam registration/deregistration:
- Exam registration: registration for the examination is possible until 12 o'clock noon on the working day before the examination.
- If you want to take an exam on Monday, you can register for the exam by Friday at 12 noon on the previous week.
- If you want to take an exam on Wednesday, you can register for the exam on Tuesday at 12 noon.
- Exam deregistration: alteration and cancellation can be made till 0.00 o'clock on the working day before the examination.
- If you want to deregister on the Monday exam, you can do it on the previous week until Friday (Thursday midnight).
- If you want to deregister on Wednesday exam, you can do it until Tuesday (Monday midnight).
Important informations:
- If you haven't got a valid exam registration in the current exam period from the given subject, you will not be able to register for the retake exam announced on the last week.
- The student can take maximum of three examinations per subject in an exam period.
- If students wish to improve the grade or assessment that they have already received, they may do so in maximum three subjects per semester and once per subject within the examination period.
- The student can prove his / her absence from the exam within three working days.
- The Rules and Regulations allows the instructors to create only retake exam opportunity for the last week of the examination period. If the student does not have an another valid exam registration during this exam period, the student cannot register for the exams on the last week.
- Your last exam must be succeed at least 3 working days before the state exam.
Retake exam fee:
The first two exams of a given subject are free. Thereafter, all further exam of the subject has a fee. There is 3000 HuF (retake exam fee). Quick guide for making payments via neptun: link
Important: The bank transaction will take about 2 working days, so please be aware of this when planning your exam period.
If you would like to reject the state exam period, then please send an email to acsatary@science.unideb.hu (free of charge). In this case you can take your exam in the exam period for non graduating students: May 18, 2026. – July 3, 2026.
State exam period: May 26 – June 5, 2026
Registration for the state exam day will be later, which the student can also register via Neptun system.
