Dear Student!
I would like to inform you that the exam period of 2nd semester of the academic year 2025/2026 for the non graduating students: May 18, 2026 – July 3, 2026.
The registration for the exams will be open on May 11, 2026 (Monday) at 8 o'clock in the NEPTUN system. There is no longer possible to enroll and cancel any course for this semester!
The students should do their exams only in the exam period.
There is important to know that only student who has no financial debts to the University of Debrecen can register any exam in the NEPTUN! Please note that there is not possible to attend on any exam without NEPTUN registration!
There is responsibility of the student to check the grade has been uploaded to the NEPTUN system for each exam.
Deadline of the exam registration/deregistration:
- Exam registration: registration for the examination is possible until 12 o'clock noon on the working day before the examination.
- If you want to take an exam on Monday, you can register for the exam by Friday at 12 noon on the previous week.
- If you want to take an exam on Wednesday, you can register for the exam on Tuesday at 12 noon.
- Exam deregistration: alteration and cancellation can be made till 0.00 o'clock on the working day before the examination.
- If you want to deregister on the Monday exam, you can do it on the previous week until Friday (Thursday midnight).
- If you want to deregister on Wednesday exam, you can do it until Tuesday (Monday midnight).
Important informations:
- If you haven't got a valid exam registration in the current exam period from the given subject, you will not be able to register for the retake exam announced on the last week.
- The student can take maximum of three examinations per subject in an exam period.
- If students wish to improve the grade or assessment that they have already received, they may do so in maximum three subjects per semester and once per subject within the examination period.
- The student can prove his / her absence from the exam within three working days.
- If a student fails to prove his /her absence from the exam, the student loses an exam opportunity on that subject.
- An examination course in a theoretical subject can only be registered in the following semester if the student has at least a fail grade in the subject.
Retake exam fee:
The first two exams of a given subject are free. Thereafter, all further exam of the subject has a fee. There is 3000 HuF (retake exam fee). Quick guide for making payments via neptun: link
Important: The bank transaction will take 2 working days, so please be aware of this when planning your exam period.
